Delicous Food Our aim is to provide delicious food from fresh local ingredients, cooked from scratch to order. We make every effort to source ingredients from North Devon suppliers, and pride ourselves on a wide range of fresh locally caught fish and seafood.

Fresh Vegetables and Home Baked Bread All main courses are served with at least five fresh, seasonal vegetables and potatoes, many supplied by local gardeners. Our bread is made daily here in our own kitchen.

Seasonal Ingredients Our menu changes regularly, and specials are always available to take advantage of seasonal ingredients.

Freshly Caught Fish Fish specials are dependant on weather conditions and what the boats bring in.

A Range of Local Beer and Ales Lathwells is a fully licensed restaurant; we are famous for our range of local beers and ales.

Lathwells is in Cooper Street, a narrow, cobbled street leading from Bideford quay into the centre of the town. The street is one of the oldest in Bideford; it retains the atmosphere of the old port on the river Torridge, and at the same time is the hub of the present-day town, bustling with locals and holidaymakers both old and young.
