As James Fagan and Nancy Kerr were quoted "…a delightful duo who not only inspire one another but put an indelible smile on the faces of their audiences. Strong harmonies, side-splitting stories and ballads brought to life in a way we hadn't seen before. Heartily recommended."
Cloudstreet will be doing two days of childrens workshops at Edgehill College promoted by the Folk Festival - providing access to folk music to six primary schools in the Bideford area.
Festival Package
The Lundy Island Company have given us a nice package for season ticket holders and festival visitors. Along with a discounted price they include; coach travel to and from Ilfracombe harbour, the pleasant sea journey of twenty miles and a buffet lunch at the Marisco Tavern. We are weighing in with some festival artistes, who will sing and play on the deck and in the lounge during the journey. On the island you will be able to go for a walk or sit in the Marisco and enjoy some more music and song or do both. Click on the picture to find out how to book.
We are pleased to welcome Gary Nunn with Ticklish Allsorts to the festival this year. They will be putting on a childrens festival from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th with activities and entertainment; and that is in addition to the FolkSprings! Workshops for 11-19 year old musicians and singers.

Your Feedback Forms All your feedback forms went into the draw after the closing date 15th September. We have drawn the four prizewinners. This was done by Barbara at ToneZone Music on September 17th. The four winners have been contacted and the prizes allocated. The prizes were; two trips for two to Lundy on board the Oldenburgh, two season tickets and a very fine Tony Dixon Whistle. The trips were donated by The Lundy Island Company and the whistle by Tony Dixon of Tony Dixon Music , thanks to them both. The fourth prize was two season tickets to next years Bideford Folk Festival. We had winners from all over the country; Sidmouth, Bideford, Bamford and Gravesend. The winners were all ladies - us men will have to do better next year!

Please look at our sponsors pages as they are a vital link in the funding of the festival.
