Maggie has been singing longer than she cares to remember. An invitation by a friend to a folk club many years ago started a lifelong passion for singing & song writing. She like other local song writers finds great inspiration in the West Country its legends & its people.

Her own song Three Times Three the true story of John” Babbacombe” Lee the man they could not hang was used by BBC Radio Devon to run with its Radio Play “The Man They Could Not Hang “a new slant on the story written by Eleanor Fossey.

Maggie has supported have supported Fairport Convention, The Albion Band,Phil Beer, Ian Bruce,Bob Fox, Pete Coe,  St Agnes Fountain, Brass Monkey, Balzin Fiddles to name but a few. She has taken numerous singing workshops at various festivals, She is extremely keen to encourage younger children to find their voice & is currently helping to coach some youngsters to take their music further than the bathroom even though showerheads do make good pretend microphones !!.

As well as folk clubs & festivals Maggie can be found singing at the annual Great Create Festival at Greenway & by request of local artists she is now singing at numerous art exhibitions. Also in demand at pubs & bistros these venues allow a wider selection of music traditional & contemporary folk plus original songs.


Maggie has recorded 2 CD’s Full Circle Round & Timeless & is now gearing up for a 3rd
