Jonny Kearney & Lucy Farrell 
Lucy and Jonny sound lovely together and I am sure that are going to be a big hit wherever they play.
Jonny Kearney,since completing the Folk Degree course at Newcastle last summer,has been developing a career as a fully-fledged performer/musician.
Along with Lucy Farrell -who was on the course with him-he has in the last couple of months supported Rachel Unthank and the Winterset at several of their gigs on their recent UK tour as well as supporting Coope.Boyes and Simpson at The Sage Gateshead.
Jonny plays guitar,piano ,and sings all his own material along with Lucy who sings,plays fidddle,and occasionally the saw. Recently,Jonny was awarded the Alan Hull songwriting prize by a panel which included Kathryn Tickell,ex-Lindisfarner Ray Laidlaw,and Alan's widow,Pat Hull,and the pair are performing at several festivals throughout Spring and Summer 2009.
Lucy Farrell is a singer and fiddle player, she has been playing and performing for about 8 years. From Maidstone, Lucy went to the North East to study on the Folk and Traditional music course.She met Jonny on the course and they started playing together because of a shared love of songs. On the course Lucy has had the opportunity to play at various festivals and folk clubs including Bladon festival, Leith folk club, Stockton folk club and has appeared at Cecil Sharpe House. Since finishing the course last summer Lucy and Jonny have continued to play together in local folk clubs and pubs, kicking off their summer at Oxford festival.
