Tony Finney
Energetic singer, songwriter, Tony’s powerful songs are influenced by his years in the USA and his desire to communicate his views on life today
High Tide
The complementary blend of Andrea’s warm voice and Malcolm’s traditional earthy tones supported by Malcolm’s musicianship, blend well on the melodic songs that they choose to sing.
Chris Ayliffe & Caroline Castinelli
Chris’s economic but masterful guitar playing is a perfect backdrop for Caroline’s beautifully clear voice. They bring new life to old songs and move from folk to blues to the standards with ease.
James Boyle & Kevin Lees
James and Kevin are two young fiddle players who continue to amaze us with their music and their musical arrangements incorporating; melodeon, mandolin and guitar. Semi-finalists at last years Folk on 2 awards.
Steve & Trish Ruffe
Steve is a songwriter of no mean talents and Trish a wonderful interpreter of his songs. They can make you cry for the tenderness of it all or make you laugh fit to bust –always entertaining.
Ian Hudson
Ian is a wonderful solo performer with a wealth of songs and a confident vocal delivery. You can be sure of at least one Show of Hands song during what will be a very melodic set.
Wildflower Mountain Music Club
Led by Martin and Marianne Lucas the music club will deliver a fabulous set featuring the club members. They play American roots and Bluegrass music so expect some fine songs and musicianship in a set to get your feet tapping.
Ade & Barbara Miller
Ade and Barbara of ToneZone Music are very accomplished musicians with their Blues Band Trouble House. Expect some tasty guitar licks from Ade and the delectable rock/blues delivery of Miss B.
Dose of Salts Chorus
Expect some fine unaccompanied singing from Jerry, Hilary, Glenn and Cherie; Dose of Salts augmented by Kelly and John Wade and the ‘chorus’. You may see some of the pupils from Westcroft or Abbottsham who can remember the ‘Mole Song’ onstage for a little cameo appearance.
Maggie Duffy
Maggie Duffy a visitor to the festival - is a singer song writer who accompanies her exquisite voice on guitar. Happy to play on any stage she’ll be perfect for a summer’s afternoon in the park.
Claddagh and Debbie O’shea
Wonderful Irish music from the members of Claddagh with some songs from Debbie who has a unique and beautiful voice.
Martin & Vera Jardine
Visitors to the festival Martin on melodeon and Vera on keyboard will either get you dancing or your feet tapping with some wonderful tunes.
Andy Knight
A singer songwriter with an interesting take on life.
Marisco
Lisa Sture and John Hextall, both multi-instrumentalists along with Chris Millington bring energy and experience to their music. With their varied musical styles and influences and the song writing skills of Chris they have a unique appeal guaranteed transform any music enthusiast into a Marisco fan.
Oggle Band
Fusing traditional music with elements of jazz and world influences, the ‘Oggle Band’ has established a reputation as one of the liveliest, most entertaining ceilidh dance bands in the South West. They are completely at home playing concerts as they are the last act of the 2006 Festival we may have to dance the festival out!
