Bideford Folk Club
Bideford Folk Club happens every Thursday evening at the Joiners Arms in Market Place. The evening starts at 8pm and it’s a singaround with occasional guests three or four times a year. It is a very friendly club that welcomes visitors to the area and encourages those who are finding a folk voice and are new to singing to have a go. It’s best to check at Christmas time and the New Year as those are the only time the club may not be on a Thursday.

My wife swears by Dan Garnett the Fish Man. His fish are fresh from the sea and locally caught, he can also tell you - if you need to know how - best to cook the different fish. Catch him in Bideford, Mill Street on a Friday 9am-1pm. You can also buy fresh fish from him at Hatherleigh Market on a Tuesday, Holsworthy Market on a Wednesday and South Molton Market on a Thursday at the same times.
